TNPSC TA Job Profile

Technical Assistants perform tasks such as:

TNPSC TA Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum is 32 years. Age relaxations are available for candidates from reserved categories as per Tamil Nadu government norms.

TNPSC TA Selection Process

TNPSC TA Exam Pattern

The written examination has two parts:

Part I: Technical Subject (Diploma Level)

  • 200 Questions

  • Total Marks: 300

  • Duration: 3 Hours

Part II: General Studies + Mental Ability

  • 100 Questions (each carries 2 marks)

  • Total Marks: 200

  • Duration: 2 Hours

The total exam is for 500 marks. Minimum qualifying marks will vary depending on the candidate’s category.
