TNPSC AE Exam: Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Candidates must possess a 4-year regular degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the respective discipline of Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks.

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 32 years.

Part 1 – Technical Paper

  • Subjects: Respective engineering discipline

  • Questions: 200

  • Marks: 300

  • Duration: 3 Hours

Part 2 – General Studies

  • Subjects: General Studies, Mental Ability, Quantitative Aptitude

  • Questions: 100 (2 marks each)

  • Marks: 200

  • Duration: 2 Hours
